Valentine's Day is OVER!!

Hello All!

Well, I made it through Valentine's Day. Don't get me wrong I LOVE V-day. But, with 4kids in school, it CRAZY all V-Day week! Even my oldest, who is in 6th grade, just HAD to take in treats this year. I wonder if she will still feel that way next year? Anywho, I have been stamping, I just haven't had time to post. But, here is a little of what has been going on...

I love, love, LOVE the new Flower Punch from Stampin' Up! I am really enjoying the new design of the punches, and it is much easier on my hands. My cards for today have been inspired by cards that I have seen perusing magazines, and other blogs. I also wanted to get in the spirit of spring and summer, and get some bright colors rolling!

I really love the 'buttons' on this card. I made them using my 1 inch circle punch, and my crop-a-dile. A little time consuming, but I really like the end result.

Did I mention that I love the new flower punch? I love it. A Lot.

When I punch my flowers, I like to punch two and layer them, to make them even more sturdy. I also sponge the edges in the same color as the cardstock to give them more depth. I also did the same with the buttons.

Well, that's all for today! If you have any questions, please let me know. Have a FANTASTIC day! :)

Notepads!

Hello!! My project for today is altered notepads! I did these for a meeting that I had at my house today. It is functional, but also served as sort of a gift to thank them for all the hard work that we have ahead! :) As you can see, I am using one of the new In Colors in the first set. Of all the new colors, I think Melon Mambo is my fav. I love this shade of pink so much! I also used the new Polka Dot Ribbon in Melon Mambo. The patterned paper is more from my stash, that I am slowly starting to let see the light of day. The second set is using Pacific Point as the main color. It is from the 2008 In Colors, and is my favorite from that group. I just love how Real Red looks with it! If you can believe it, I still had some paper left over from my One Sheet Wonder project from a few weeks ago! I made a bunch of cards with it, and still had some left over. I LOVE that technique!

Stamps: Define your Life
Paper: Melon Mambo, Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White (I'm not sure who makes the patterned paper, but I got it at Hobby Lobby a few months ago.)

I have FINALLY finished my schedule for the year!! I will be uploading that to my Stampin' Up! website today. If there are any clubs or classes you would like to attend, call me or send me an email to: tiffanypennington76@yahoo.com and let me know. Please sign up as soon as you can because space is limited!! Have a great day!

Saying Goodbye...

Well, sort of. ;) Hello! I spent most of today day sort of saying goodbye to the retiring In Colors. Even though they will no longer be available to order, You will continue to see me use them. I've only been a SU! demonstrator for a few months, so I really haven't had long to use these fabulous colors. I think Pacific Point has to be my favorite!

I also used the One Sheet Wonder method for this set of cards. I got the inspiration from Mae, a super creative lady on Splitcoast. You can visit her blog here I altered the color palette a bit, and used Kiwi Kiss and Real Red. That is my other favorite SU! color. It is a very deep and beautiful red, I find I use it often!

Stamps: Enjoy Every Moment, Vouge Verses, Lots of Thoughts
Paper: Whisper White, Pacific Point, Real Red, Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango
Ink: Pacific Point, Real Red, Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango

I actually did these two projects on Sunday. It was really fun, I love the So Tweet chipboard!

I used the Good Morning Sunshine dsp for this card. I'm really going to miss this cool retro paper! I got the inspiration for this card from Angie on Chic n Scratch. Her blog is so awesome!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Lots of LadyBugs!

A few weeks ago, my wonderful husband bought me my dream car! That car is a VW Beetle, or as my kids call it, 'The LadyBug'. Since then, I have developed a bit of an obsession with them. I have been making them almost non-stop...lol. I put together a few small projects in honor of 'The LadyBug', I hope you enjoy!

I love it!

I would once again like to thank the creative ladies over on Splitcoast for the inspiration, as well as Angie at Chic n Scratch. I watched her video on making the bugs about 100 times! :)
