Mojo Monday 105

Hello! I am very proud to say that I have completed my Mojo Monday card for this week! I didn't get it done last week. I just couldn't get any good ideas for the sketch. Oh, well, Yay for this week though! I REALLY liked this week's sketch. It jut came together so easily! I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I am currently in the house, ALONE. Travis is at work, and the kids are in school, so I had no distractions! Actually, as I was making the card, a song popped into my head that I hadn't heard in YEARS, and I went to my old CDs, and there it was! I just listened to it about 50 times while I made the card. It was AWESOME!!

The color combo in this card isn't one that I would have normally thought to use: Kraft, Bermuda Bay, Orange, and Basic Black. However, I think that it came together nicely. I happen to have almost all my paper spread out, (I'm working on something for my card club members!) so I just plucked them out! Let me tell you, trying to tie that ribbon without the polka dots showing is pretty tricky! Hope you like it. Have a GREAT day, I am!! :)

  5. The color does look a little off. I'm not sure why, but when I resize the picture, it always makes the colors on the card funky. Drives me batty!

  6. Great Job Tiffany!! I love the ribbon and the color combo;) I'm really curious and would like to know what song it was that kept you going.. I can't craft without my music as loud as I can get it to go;)Lol. My Hubby dosen't like the same music so it makes things kind of difficult. Anywho, Keep rockin' the sketches;)

  7. Haha...GinaMarie, it's a Dru Hill song called 'All Alone'. It's a slow song, but it just took me back to my late teens/early 20's. I guess because I was ALL ALONE in my house today!lol Ahhh, memories of being young and carefree... I actually listened to the whole CD SEVERAL times! That was such a fun time in my life, it was great just zoning out, making cards, and reminiscing. :)
